Learning from Toronto

Using Toronto as a case study, I aimed to explore drawing and diagramming as a dialectical tool to
better understand the intangible, ephemeral, and purely conceptual, yet still pervasive qualities of
urbanity while still remaining grounded in a study of its physical geography.
King Street Study
This elevation explores the life of a block of King Street West, specifically in front of the OMNI King Edward Hotel. The elevation is used as a tool to examine the nature of openness and the public realm within the urban fabric of Toronto.
